Of all the traditions examined, only ONE fully demonizes the serpent: post-Nicene Christianity. Revelation 12:9 calls the dragon "that old serpent, the Devil." But Genesis itself does not -- the nachash gives KNOWLEDGE. Numbers 21 shows the serpent HEALING. Isaiah describes the seraphim (fire serpents) as angels before God's throne. The demonization came later. It came when unified knowledge threatened centralized power. If the serpent is wisdom, and you want to control wisdom, you must first make people fear the serpent.
Genesis 11:6 records the fear: "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and nothing will be restrained from them." When humanity was unified, nothing was impossible. The division of language, of land, of knowledge -- this was not punishment. This was strategy. Dark souls want the dark. They want the split. They want us to fear the serpent instead of awakening it. Because when the dragon wakes, the kingdom reunites. And a kingdom united cannot be controlled.
Every culture describes the same image: ONE thing suspended in water before the split. The universe is a fractal.
